In today’s fast-paced world, many children grow up in environments lacking deep care and emotional security. Women are under immense stress, often without adequate support, leading to depleted oxytocin levels. As a result, their ability to nurture and bond with their children is compromised.

The Art of Nourishment: Ayurveda, Conscious Eating, and the Path to Transformation

We absorb the essence, energy, and spirit of everything we encounter. One of my teachers in India used to say, “Never compromise on food.” But he wasn’t speaking only of fruits, vegetables, or grains—he meant everything that nourishes and shapes us: the conversations we engage in, the books we read, the spaces we inhabit, and the thoughts we entertain. To exhibit the dance of purity, talent, and dedication.

I thought that by being better, smarter, and prettier, I could shield myself from criticism, becoming untouchable. When criticism becomes unbearable it usually stems from a fixed mindset, a belief that who we are is static, unchangeable. This mindset makes growth impossible and renders criticism intolerable, as if someone is denying our right to exist. To make mistakes, to carry extra weight, to feel self-doubt or inexperience—these things seem like attacks on our identity. When we view ourselves as unchanging, we hide. We conceal our imperfections, creating new personas rather than nurturing the one within.
